The first alpaca to give birth is Poppy. The cria is a boy, sort of cream colour, weighs 18.2 pounds.
Poppy and the cria were moved to the corral after Poppy's herdmates got a bit too eager to admire how cute he was, as he needed to concentrate on finding Poppy's boobs and Poppy needed to concentrate on standing still and letting him.
Everyone loves the cria (and the cria seems to know it).
